A year ago today, my world collided with magic. I was lucky enough to witness the unparalleled brilliance of my first Taylor Swift concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The memory of that night is a treasure trove of unforgettable moments, a symphony of emotions, and a testament to the extraordinary power of music. The Eras Tour concept is autobiographical: Taylor looks back at her career, album by album, each of which she ascribes to a different “era” in her life, and each of which constitutes a segment of the show. I can’t believe it’s been one year since that amazing night.
A Sold Out Taylor Swift Concert
From the moment I stepped into the stadium, surrounded by a sea of sparkling outfits and infectious enthusiasm, I knew I was in for something special. The camaraderie among Swifties was electric, creating a bond that transcended age and background. Sharing friendship bracelets with my loved ones added a personal touch to an already extraordinary experience.
Then, she appeared. Taylor Swift, a radiant force of nature, commanded the stage with an aura that was both intimate and electrifying. Her performance was a masterpiece, a journey through time and emotions that left me breathless. Every song was a story, every lyric a connection.
I’ll never forget the collective roar of the crowd as the janitor cart made its grand entrance or the heartwarming moment when Taylor’s parents took their place in the VIP section and garnered applause as they took their seats as if we were all part of her extended family.
The bridge of “Cruel Summer” still sends shivers down my spine. The raw energy of the crowd, singing along in unison, created an unforgettable atmosphere. It was a moment of pure musical euphoria that I’ll cherish forever. I still wonder how she had the stamina and voice to perform 40+ songs and over 3 1/2 hours of sheer movement.
All Her Era’s
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour was more than just a concert; it was a cultural phenomenon that brought people together in a way that only music can. It was a celebration of her artistry, her growth, and her unwavering connection with her fans. Here is a fascinating article from Architectural Digest about her magnificent stage set artistry.
My First Taylor Swift Concert

Here’s to many more years of incredible music and unforgettable performances! #TaylorSwift #ErasTour #OneYearLater #SwiftieForLife

How lucky for you! The show keeps on, until this December. There are so many YouTube videos. I watch everyday it seems, especially her accoustic sets!

I remember when you went last year! It’s amazing to have such great memories and you can relive them a year or even years later. I’ve done the same to the Alabama Band concerts I’ve been too.

The shows that stick with you are a gift. I just discovered you love Alabama! Great group!

Anne, wow! You write so beautifully about this incredible woman and her music. It must be staggering to be her parents– their kid not only “makes good” but becomes a superstar. You’ve made me want to see the movie. Where did you catch her Eras concert? Thanks for sharing the Taylor phenomenon so beautifully.

Thanks for your nice comment Kebba. I saw Taylor last year at Santa Clara, CA where the 49er’s play football. My first time there and our seats were perfect. Not too high up and close to a huge screen. The place was magnetic! So fun!
